Two Rivers Amateur Radio Group will host a Winter Field Day activity on Jan 25. If you’re in Yell County and looking for a way to participate in ham radio’s annual winter portable operating event, this is what you’re looking for!
We will gather at the workshop of Kim, WB5TLB. His shop provides warm and dry shelter from whatever the weather may bring. We will be operating portable on emergency power. We will have HF, VHF and digital modes in operation if you want to see how any of these work.
We will also be working on antenna parts for our fundraiser selling antenna kits and components.
We will be getting started at 9:00 am on Saturday, Jan 25 and will go as long as people want to be on the air. Join us at the address below.
